Drug possession LOCK HAVEN — A 33-year-old Lock Haven man could face drug possession charges following a traffic stop along East Walnut Street, Lock Haven, on Nov. 26, state police at Lamar said. At 4:08 p.m., a 2016 Chevrolet Malibu was stopped for traffic violations when, through an investigation, it was discovered the man, a passenger, was in possession of a controlled substance, police said. Harassment between teens AVIS — A 15-year-old Avis male was cited for harassment following an incident reported on Dec. 5, state police at Lamar said. According to police, the victim, a Jersey Shore teenager, had concerning messages on her phone. Through an investigation it was determined the 15-year-old threatened the other teen, police said. Vehicle rear ended HOWARD — A 2016 Chevrolet Silverado, driven by Kole M. Phillips, 19, of Beech Creek, rear ended a 2009 Toyota Matrix, driven by Madison M. Ruggiers, 19, of Mill Hall, along North Eagle Valley Road near Hunter Run Road on Oct. 14, according to state police at Rockview. Ruggiers was stopped along state Route 150, waiting to turn left onto Hunter Run Road when the accident occurred, police said. Restaurant burglary MILL HALL — State police were dispatched to Rey Azteca following a report of a burglary, according to state police at Lamar. Upon investigation, police learned an unknown actor gained entry by prying open the door with a suspected crowbar, police said. Once inside, the actor was able to obtain $2,000 left in bank envelopes and $280 from the register, police said. The cash register was left inoperable, valued at $195, police said. Man ID’d in fatal crash along Route 44 near Antes Fort

ANTES FORT — The identity of the driver killed in a Thursday evening crash near Route 44 and Morgan Valley Road in Nippenose Township has been released by Lycoming County Coroner Charles Kiessling Jr. 19-year-old Lucas Smithgall, of Pearson Road, Jersey Shore, was killed when he lost control of his vehicle as he traveled south on Route 44, and crossed into the path of a truck traveling in the northbound lane, the press release said.
