PSP: Electrical failure cause of fire along River Road

SOUTH AVIS — An electrical failure was the cause of a structure fire along River Road on Jan. 20, according to reports from state police at Lamar. The fire was reported at about 5:20 a.m. at a vacant structure located at 2339 River Road, Pine Creek Township, which brought multiple crews across the county, including those in neighboring Lycoming County, to battle the blaze.
