The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT), the Pennsylvania State Police (PSP) and the Highway Safety Network (HSN) announced this week the implementation of Operation Yellow Jacket in highway work zones in PennDOT’s District 2. Operation Yellow Jacket is a joint initiative between PennDOT and PSP to increase safety within work zones for highway workers and the motoring public. Three arrested in burglary RENOVO — On July 25, at approximately 4:52 p.m., the Renovo Police Department was called to a burglary in progress at 205 Cedar St., in Renovo Borough. Once on scene, police found three adults and four children between the ages of 2-9 inside the house. Police said their investigation revealed that unlawful entry had been made by entering through a second floor window. Bail denied for LH man accused of repeated rape of young boy

BELLEFONTE — A 39-year-old Lock Haven man is behind bars in Centre County, with bail denied, after a lengthy investigation into allegations of repeated rape of a young boy for several years. WJAC reported that Michael Oglesby is accused of molesting the victim at residences in both Centre and Clinton counties, starting when the boy was between 8 or 9 years old.
