Lyco Regional Police investigate break-ins in Jersey Shore

JERSEY SHORE — On Sept. 15, the Lycoming Regional Police Department took reports from several local businesses of overnight break-ins that occurred. NAPA Auto Parts, at 100 Bridge St., and Eck's Agway, at 112 Harris St., in Jersey Shore Borough, were both entered. It is believed the break-ins occurred around 2-3 a.m. on Sept. 15. NAPA Auto Parts told The Express on Tuesday that money was stolen and the property was damaged. Waterville man attacked; attacker on the run LOCK HAVEN — A 46-year-old Waterville man was attacked from behind by ‘Billy clubs’ and a metal baseball bat along Island Road, Dunnstable Township on Sept. 1, state police at Lamar said. The assault occurred at 7:51 p.m. when Dane Madron, 50, of Jersey Shore, and possibly another man nicknamed “Montana” attacked the victim with and beat him while on the ground, police said.
