Single vehicle crash BEECH CREEK — State police at Lamar responded to a motor vehicle accident on May 4 at 6:30 a.m. along Railroad Street in Beech Creek Township. According to police, the 15 year old driver was operating a 2020 Chevrolet Silverado in the area of 352 Bald Eagle Mountain Road when it traveled off the north side of the highway, down an embankment and struck a concrete culvert. Extraditable warrant LAMAR — On May 3, at approximately 5:30 p.m., Trooper Hall of the PA State Police stopped a 2003 Gold Toyota Corolla in the area of mile marker 172.3 of Interstate 80 Eastbound for Title 75 violations. It was then discovered that the license plate on the vehicle was fraudulent and the driver was unable to provide any legitimate documentation for the vehicle. Upon further investigation, police discovered that the operator, Terry Fletcher, 58, of Jacksonville, Fla., had an extraditable warrant out of N.J., and the vehicle was stolen out of St. Louis, Mo. Two car crash; no injuries LOCK HAVEN — Woodward Township police reported a two vehicle crash that took place on May 4 at about 11:30 a.m. at the intersection of Woodward Avenue and Mill Hall Road. Police said the driver of unit 1 attempted to execute an improper left turn onto Mill Hall Road, colliding with a vehicle already stopped at the stop sign on Mill Hall Road. Simple assault LOCK HAVEN — A 34-year-old man was arrested for simple assault following an incident on April 7 along North Grove Street, Lock Haven City Police said. At about 11:50 p.m., Zach Nagel, of Gallitzin, struck a victim in the head and body multiple times, causing them to fall to the ground while he continued to strike them, police said.
