Burton L. Wilson, Sr.
Burton L. Wilson, Sr., 90, of Renovo, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 19, 2024, at Haven Place in Lock Haven.
Born July 31, 1934 in Wharton, Pa., he was a son of the late Martin R. and Mildred B. (Brown) Wilson.
He was married to the former Mary Jane (Tassa) Wilson who died Oct. 11, 2000.
Burton worked for K&L Auto Sales and was a crane operator for ACI, Chem Con, Berwick and Sylvania. He was a volunteer for the Renovo Fire Company where he was a ladder truck operator and treasurer. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, Euchre tournaments and darts. He was a member of the Elks and the Son’s of Italy in Renovo.
Burton served in the Army from March 8, 1957 to March 6, 1959.
Surviving are two sons, Thomas Carl Wilson and Burton Lewis Wilson and Patricia (Conahan) Wilson; and two daughters, Jean Marie Mason and Gary Grube and Brenda Lee Bower; nine grandchildren, Kiefer Douglas Mason, Collin Robert Mason, Matthew (Carine) Wilson, Lindsay (Ian Cummings) Wilson, Jessica (Josh) O’Brien, Nathaniel (Chrissy) Bower, Brian Bower, Heather Wilson and Michael Wilson; and five great-grandchildren, Briar Douglas Mason, Blaine Lewis Mason, Ellie Cummings, Allison O’Brien and Caden O’Brien.
A brother, John Wilson, of North Royalton, Ohio; and a sister-in-law, Ella Wilson, also survive him.
He was preceded in death by a son, Robert Paul Wilson, in 2003; and three brothers, Richard, Robert and David.
The funeral service will be held at 1:30 on Tuesday, Nov. 26, 2024, at the Maxwell Funeral Home, 205 5th St., Renovo, with Martha Sykes officiating.
A visitation for family and friends will be held from noon — 1:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
Burial with military honors will be at North Bend following the service.

Following the burial there will be a gathering at the Renovo Fire Co.
