Darlene Fern McKinney

Darlene Fern McKinney, 86, a former resident of Kephart Plaza, passed away on Sunday, July 27, 2025, at Lock Haven Rehabilitation & Senior Living.

Born Aug. 29, 1938, in Lock Haven, she was a daughter of the late John E. and Hazel M. (Grimins) McKinney.

After high school she worked for Clinton Paper Company and also Hammermill where she worked in quality control. She retired from Penn State chemical and engineering in the printing and graphics dept.

Darlene was a lifelong member of St. Agnes Church.

Darlene was an avid golfer and many of her paintings were donated and auctioned to Geisinger Medical Center.

Surviving are a sister, Phyllis Robinson, of Lock Haven; and several nieces and nephews.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Gordon McKinney and John McKinney; and three sisters, Marion King, Lois LeGrande and Nora Lou Fiedler.

A memorial Mass is being planned and will be announced.

Interment will be at St. Agnes Cemetery, Lock Haven.
