BROWN — Betty F. Brown, 98, of Jersey Shore, died Oct. 14, 2025. A visitation will be held today at 1 p.m. at the Avis United Methodist Church, 215 Prospect Ave., Avis. A memorial service will follow at 2 p.m. at the church. Interment will be in Rest Haven Memorial Park at a later date.

LUNDFELT — Patricia Ann (Hills) Lundfelt, 94, of North Bend, died Oct. 19, 2025. A memorial service will be held today at 11 a.m. at the North Bend United Methodist Church, 41 Main St., North Bend. Interment will be at North Bend Cemetery.

BOWER — Ruthann Bower, 71, passed away peacefully on Oct. 1, 2025. Family and friends are invited to celebrate Ruthann’s life at a memorial service to be held today at Rearick Carpenter Funeral Home, 1002 Allegheny St., Jersey Shore. Visitation will be from 1-3 p.m., with the memorial service beginning at 3 p.m.

SHROAT — George W. Shroat, 74, of Jersey Shore, died Oct. 18, 2025. A visitation will be held on Sunday, Oct. 26, from 12-2 p.m., at Frederick B. Welker Funeral Home, 125 N. Main St., Jersey Shore, Pa. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Monday, Oct. 27, at 11 a.m. Interment will be in Rest Haven Memorial Park.

DUNKLE — Neil F. Dunkle, Jr., 81, of Jersey Shore, died Oct. 21, 2025. Services for Neil will take place on Sunday, Oct. 26, at Dunkled Acres, 1009 First Fork Road, Jersey Shore. The service will be held in the house that Neil loved. It is on the far side of the creek next to the waterfall. There will be signs. Viewing starts at 11 a.m. There will be a military service conducted at 1:30 p.m. and a time for friends and family to speak. Everyone is invited to stay and join the family for a meal which will take place immediately after the service at 2 p.m.

BOTTORF — Harry W. Bottorf, 58, of Castanea, died Oct. 9, 2025. A public Celebration of Life will be held on Nov. 1 at 11 a.m. at the Flemington First Church of Christ, 714 Canal St., Mill Hall.

CARR — Duane E. Carr, Sr., 75, of Loganton, died Oct. 13, 2025. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Nov. 15, at 1 p.m., at Kingdom of Life Ministries, 129 Park Ave., Lock Haven, Pa.
