CONRAD — Lois V. (George) Conrad, 87, of Avis, died Feb. 3, 2026. A visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m., on Thursday, Feb. 12, at Frederick B. Welker Funeral Home, 125 N. Main St., Jersey Shore. A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Feb. 13, at St. Luke’s Catholic Church, 118 Kendall Ave., Jersey Shore, Pa. She will be laid to rest in the Jersey Shore Cemetery.

HARER — Rita A. Harer, 79, died Feb. 7, 2026. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, Feb. 12, at 4 p.m., at Liberty Baptist Church, 100 Bald Eagle St., Blanchard. Private interment will be at the Blanchard Baptist Cemetery. Family and friends will be received at the church on Thursday from 3 p.m. until the time of the service.

SUMMERS — Daniel L. “Dan” Summers, 43, of Loganton, died Feb. 6, 2026, at Jersey Shore. The funeral services will be held on Friday, Feb. 13, at 11 a.m., at Calvary Baptist Church, 315 Thompson St., Jersey Shore, Pa., with Pastor Jeffrey Howell officiating. A visitation will be held in the church on Friday from 10 a.m. until time of the service. Interment will be held privately in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Rosecrans, Pa.

YOUNG — Nadine Christal (Kuntz) Young, 66, of Trout Run, died Feb. 5, 2026. A memorial service will be held on Friday, Feb. 13, at 11 a.m., at the Steam Valley Bible Church, 570 State Route 184, Trout Run, Pa. A luncheon will follow. Family and friends may call at the church on Friday from 10 a.m. until the time of service.

COUP — Sidney A. “Sid” Coup, Jr., 88, of Bellefonte, died Feb. 4, 2026. Family and friends will be received on Saturday, Feb. 14, from 10-11 a.m., at Faith United Methodist Church, 512 Hughes St., Bellefonte, Pa. Funeral services will be held at the church beginning at 11 a.m. Following a meal at the church, burial services will be held at Zion Cemetery.

PIPER — John Richard Piper, 81, died Jan. 25, 2026. A visitation will be held on Friday, Feb. 20, from 3-7 p.m., at Elkin Funeral Home, 65 South Lake St., North East, Pa. A mass will be held Saturday, Feb. 21, at 11 a.m., at St. Gregory Church, 48 S. Pearl St., North East, Pa. (www.elkinfh.com)

JONES — Frank E. Jones, 87, of Lock Haven, died Feb. 7, 2026. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Feb. 21, at 1 p.m., at Donald G. Walker Funeral Home, Inc., 231 High St., Flemington, Pa. Military honors will be afforded. Family and friends will be received at the funeral home from noon until the time of the service. A Celebration of Life will be held later for family and friends in Oswego, N.Y.

MILLER — Rita A. Miller, 81, died Jan. 22, 2026. Family and friends are invited to celebrate Rita’s life at a viewing at the Gedon Funeral Homes and Cremation Services, LLC, 121 W. Main St., Lock Haven, Pa., on Saturday, Feb. 21, 2026. The family will welcome visitors between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m.

MEEKINS — Ronald H. “Ron” Meekins, 89, died Dec. 27, 2025. A memorial service will be held at noon on Saturday, March 14, 2026, at the Salladasburg United Methodist Church, with visitation from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.

McCUNE — Paul O. McCune, 98, of Wellsboro, and formerly of Mill Hall, Pa., died Jan. 22, 2026. A memorial graveside service will be held on June 3, 2026, at 1 p.m., at Cedar Hill Cemetery, Mill Hall, Pa.

BIERLY — Walter S. Bierly, 85, of Jersey Shore, died Dec. 28, 2025. A Celebration of Life is being planned and will be announced at a later date.

KWIATEK — Pete T. Kwiatek, 74, of Green Valley, Ariz., died Dec. 19, 2025. A Celebration of Life will be held in Green Valley, Ariz., at a later date.

SMITH — Rebecca Jane “Becky” (Strouse) Smith, 79, died Jan. 30, 2026. A Life Celebration will be announced in the spring.

JOHNSON — Kirk B. Johnson, Sr., 86, of Marsh Creek, died Feb. 6, 2026. A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date. Interment will be in the Johnson Family Cemetery in Marsh Creek at the family’s convenience.
