Mary L. Raab
Mary L. Raab, 68, of Avis, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 24, 2026, at Geisinger, Danville.
Born Sept. 29, 1957, in Lock Haven, she was a daughter to the late Walter Barner and the former Ilene Lesher.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Pat Hardy.
Mary was a dedicated and loving member of the Covenant United Methodist Church in Lock Haven. She was involved in the church choir, served as Chair of the Church council and participated in several committees including but not limited to SPRC, Finance committee, Outreach and Witnesses committee, Women of Faith and Walk by Faith.
She worked as a nurse for 46 years, and most recently worked as a LPN instructor at CPI, from where she retired in 2024. Upon retirement she still dedicated her time and services to CPI by going to graduating classes to serve as a case study and teaching them about medication side effects and care.
Mary is survived by her loving husband, Jeffrey W. Raab; two daughters, Jessica (Shane) Hook, of Forest, Va., and Erin (Logan) Enders, of Holly Ridge, N.C.; a granddaughter, Emerson Enders, and another granddaughter due in June; her grand dogs, Millie, Kyra and River; her siblings, Jane (Randy) Edwards and Steve (Molly) Barner; and a sister-in-law, Lori Rich.
A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. on Sunday, March 1, 2026, at Covenant United Methodist Church, 44 W. Main St., Lock Haven.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Covenant United Methodist Church or the Clinton County SPCA.
