Private interment will be at Flemington Cemetery. Family and friends will be received in the funeral home from 9 a.m. until the time of service.

ROUSH — Mary R. (Lundy) Fantaski Roush, 95, of Chambersburg, died March 16, 2026. Services and burial will be held this afternoon at 1 p.m. in the Freeburg Fairview Cemetery, Freeburg, Pa.

BARTO — Richard H. “Dick” Barto, 85, of Jersey Shore, died March 14, 2026. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. today at St. Luke Parish, 118 Kendall Ave., Jersey Shore. Family and friends are invited to attend a public viewing from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. at Rearick-Carpenter Funeral Home, 1002 Allegheny St., Jersey Shore.

TARR — Margaret Louise Tarr, 75, of South Renovo, died March 16, 2026. Family and friends will be received today from 1-3 p.m. at Donald G. Walker Funeral Home, Inc., 231 High St., Flemington. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, March 21, at 2 p.m., at St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery in Hyner.

CAPPARELLE — Toby Scott Capparelle, 59, of Bellefonte, died March 10, 2026. A public viewing will be held today from 4-8 p.m. at Wetzler Funeral Service, Inc., 206 N. Spring St., Bellefonte. Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, March 21, at 10 a.m., at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 134 W. Bishop St., Bellefonte. Burial services will immediately follow at St. John’s Catholic Cemetery, Bellefonte, Pa.

PENTZ — Anthony D. “Tony” Pentz, 23, of Cross Fork, died March 7, 2026. A funeral service will be held at 12 p.m. on Saturday, March 21, at Maxwell Funeral Home, 205 Fifth St., Renovo. A visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.

SWEELEY — Donald Russell Sweeley, 95, of Mill Hall, died March 16, 2026. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, March 21, at 11:30 a.m., at the Donald G. Walker Funeral Home, Inc., 231 High St., Flemington. Friends and family will be received for a time of visitation on Saturday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service.

WIAN — Larry E. Wian, 76, of Mackeyville, died March 16, 2026. A viewing will be held on Saturday, March 21, from 2-4 p.m., at the Donald G. Walker Funeral Home, Inc., 231 High St., Flemington.

GUNSALLUS — Scotty L. Gunsallus, Sr., 72, of Lock Haven, died March 16, 2026. A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 27, at 6 p.m., at Donald G. Walker Funeral Home, Inc., 231 High St., Flemington. Friends and family will be received at the funeral home from 4 p.m. until the time of the service.

WELSHANS — Gertrude M. “Trudy” Welshans, 100, of Jersey Shore, died March 11, 2026.

Services are being planned and will be announced once completed.

MONKS — Elzner Claire Monks, 83, of Jersey Shore, Pa., died Jan. 30, 2026. Elzner loved a good party, and the family will be having a Celebration of Life on Saturday, April 25, from 12-4 p.m., at the Moose in Jersey Shore. In his honor, the family will be having Karaoke.

STROUSE — Millie Strouse, 74, of Monument, died Feb. 16, 2026. A Celebration of Life will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. on Sunday, April 26, at Friendship Community Center, 127 Main St., Beech Creek. All family and friends are welcome.

SCHARDER — Carl “Neil” Scharder, 83, of Lock Haven, died March 6, 2026. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Scharder Farm in Caldwell on May 16, from 1-5 p.m. Please share a story and a beverage with the family. The dress code is casual.

SHAFFER — Donald L. Shaffer, 81, of Howard, died March 9, 2026. 4135 Jacksonville Road, Howard. A Celebration of Life service is being planned for Sunday, May 31, at Emmanuel United Church of Christ, 4135 Jacksonville Road, Howard. The time will be announced later.
