Pauline B. ‘Sis’ Winters

Pauline B. “Sis” Winters, 102, passed away Monday, Aug. 3, 2026. Sis was born Dec. 4, 1923, in Lock Haven, to the late Kathleen Margaret (Downs) Fravel and Karl Francis Fravel. Sis graduated from Lock Haven High School in 1942 and worked at Sylvania during WWII. On April 18, 1946, she married Harry E. Winters at St. Luke’s Reformed Church in Lock Haven. Together, they celebrated 62 years of marriage at the time of Harry’s passing in 2008. She and Harry were avid golfers and were members at Belles Springs for many years. Dr. Lester G. Kleckner, 94, passed away with his two daughters by his side on July 25, 2026. He is survived by his daughters, Stephanie (Joe) and Jacqueline (Parke) and two grandsons, Aidan (Casey) and Cullen (Abby), and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by Betty, his wife of 73 years who he considered his “soulmate” ever since they met when they were both 16 years old, and his older brother Roy Kleckner.
