Walter Lee Dunkle

Walter Lee Dunkle, 92, retired general manager of Westinghouse’s Oceanic Division in Annapolis, Md., died at his home on Pine Creek on Feb. 20. A Jersey Shore native, Dunkle was a physics graduate of Pennsylvania State University who specialized in Top Secret defense technologies for the U.S. Navy, in which he had served during the Korean War. He also belonged to Masonic Lodge 755 in Williamsport. A lifelong Republican, he was also a former Watson Township supervisor. William Lee Walker, of Jersey Shore, passed away Friday, Feb. 21, 2025 of natural causes. Bill was born Dec. 5, 1955 at Lock Haven Hospital, a son of the late Lawrence and Kathryn “Sterrett” Walker. He was a graduate of Bellefonte High School. Bill served in the United States Army as a military police officer and was honorably discharged with the rank of E2. Bill had many friends far and wide.
