During an interview in Normandy on the 80th anniversary of D-Day, ABC’s David Muir abruptly changed topics and asked President Biden if he would accept the jury’s guilty verdict of his son Hunter, then on trial for three felony gun charges related to his alleged illegal purchase and possession of a firearm while he was addicted to crack cocaine. The President replied: “Yes.” As a follow-up, Muir asked if the President would refuse to pardon his son if the jury found him guilty of the charges. President Biden responded: “Yes.”
