When you hire a man, check his references

According to numerous sources, at least 40 of the most prominent figures in Donald Trump’s first term have said they would not work for him again and that they do not endorse his bid for reelection. Some are even actively working to prevent his reelection.
Think about that. Forty out of 44 key members of Trump’s cabinet, all hand-picked by Donald Trump–and all Republicans–say he should never be allowed near the Oval Office again.
His former defense secretary, Mark Esper, calls him “a threat to democracy.”
Retired Four-Star General, James Mattis, who served as secretary of defense before Esper, said, “His use of the Presidency to destroy trust in our election and to poison our respect for fellow citizens has been enabled by pseudo political leaders whose names will live in infamy as profiles in cowardice.”
Former White House chief-of-staff John Kelly said of Trump, “I think he’s unfit for office… He puts himself before country.”
Former National Security Advisor, John Bolton said there will be “celebrations in the Kremlin” if Trump is re-elected in November, adding “Putin thinks that he is an easy mark.”
Trump’s former press secretary, Stephanie Grisham, told The Washington Post that she would be willing to help President Biden prepare for his debate with her former boss.
If you were making a hiring decision, which you are in November, would you hire the man whose own former officials say he’s wholly unfit for office?
