Dear Pennsylvania,

It’s your brother, West Virginia. I know, you’re only 75% Appalachian, still, I’m sure you have enough common sense to catch what I’m throwing at you.

Look, at one point in time you had the Capitol of our nation. You pretty much gave us the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution, Hershey’s chocolate, Rocky and I have to say it — Gettysburg. 50,000 Americans died there fighting for what they believed in. It’s in your DNA. And here we are.

The news people say that you are the most important state in this whole election. Thank God we won’t have to look at the TV ads you’re going to endure! You see, West Virginia will vote 75% Trump. Here’s a tip, just hit the mute button.

Here’s why I’m writing. Use some of that 75% common sense and figure out why 75% of West Virginia is so solid for Trump when just 20 years ago we were a solid blue state. Why do you think that is? If I have to tell you. You’re not thinking.

Here’s why: Did you hear in that Trump speech the other day he said “Christians, get out and vote. Just this time. You won’t have to do it anymore. Four more years. You know what? It’ll be fixed. It’ll be fine! You won’t have to vote anymore…” Why do you think this doesn’t upset the 81 million Americans who are still voting for him?

The news media’s saying he’s going to outlaw elections and be dictator for life. Do YOU honestly believe — that WE believe that? He was talking about the 19th point in the 2024 Republican Platform — Secure the Election! It’ll be fixed. Try that common sense thing — you’re about to get played every day.
