In praise of Senator Dush

Mike Hanna, Retired 76th District Representative Lock Haven Recent articles reported of a million dollar grant to stabilize the Bucktail Medical Center. In addition, just a couple of years ago, when UPMC tried to close the entire facility at Lock Haven Hospital a similar intervention took place to keep our emergency facilities open. I have learned that both these rescues were largely the result of efforts from our State Senator, Chris Dush. I’m a Democrat who wants to sincerely thank our Republican senator for his commitment to keeping health care accessible in Clinton County.

Karen Stoehr State College To my fellow PA voters: did you mean to vote for Trump to send our kids in the military to the Middle East to deport the Palestinians from their homeland in Gaza?Did you mean to have our taxes used to build luxury condominiums for the ultra wealthy and create the “Riviera” in Gaza? Are you willing to use our soldiers and our tax money to create and protect this new playground for oligarchs? It certainly wasn’t what I voted for. Afterall, the party decided to remove a “right to life” plank from the 2024 Republican National Convention’s platform, yet they nonetheless voted for Trump.
