Central Mountain edged out DuBois in a close contest, 4-3, in eight innings. Central Mountain started out strong by scoring two runs in the first inning. The game was tied 3-3 going into the eighth inning.
It was Cora Myers who came up clutch for the Wildcats by hitting a fly to score the game-winning run in Central Mountain’s season opener.
