Rahmer wins at Lincoln, Eck at Hummingbird

While most of the sprint car drivers in the country were already in Knoxville, Iowa, there was still action in PA Posse Country at Lincoln Speedway as Freddie Rahmer won a title with Tyler Ross, Billy Dietrich, Troy Wagaman and Matt Campbell also victorious.

Meanwhile at Hummingbird Speedway, it was a very special Saturday night as track owner Louie Caltagarone was recognized before the races for his 97th birthday that was celebrated last week. Fans and drivers alike paid tribute to him by wearing straw hats like Caltagarone has always worn and singing Happy Birthday.

At intermission, all of the cars were brought out onto the track and the fans were able to go down trackside and meet and greet with their favorite drivers while door prizes were given away before the night’s feature action began. Extra money was donated to the paydays in five of the six divisions.

Three drivers collected their second win of 2025 at Hummingbird Speedway while three others notched their first wins of the season at the third-mile oval. Among those that collected their second wins of the season were Dennis Curry Jr. in the pro stocks, Coleton Longwell in the economods and Josh Fields in the pure stocks.

Those capturing their first checkers of the season were Doug Eck in the super late models, George Kephart in the four cylidners and Nick Erskine in the semi late models.

Starting at $3.69/week.
