Montoursville’s offense put up 44 points and defensively, limited Central Mountain and handed the Wildcats their seventh loss, 44-0, as Central Mountain remains searching for its first win of the year.

The victory moves Montoursville to 6-1.

The win is the third consecutive shutout for Montoursville since losing to Mifflinburg, 35-7. The Warriors have outscored their last three opponents, 123-0. Montoursville hosts Southern Columbia in Week 8.

Central Mountain hosts Mount Carmel in Week 8 and closes the year with two very tough opponents in defending state champion Troy (Oct. 17) and District 4 power Jersey Shore (Oct. 24).
