Jersey Shore wrestling falls at Selinsgrove, 51-19.

SELINSGROVE – On Thursday night, the Jersey Shore wrestling team traveled to face Heartland-I foe Selinsgrove. The Bulldogs posted four wins, but it wasn’t enough to come out on top, as they fell by a score of 51-19.

Tobias Morgret (160) and Jonathan Dincher (172) posted back-to-back pins to give Shore a spark late, with Morgret’s coming seven seconds short of less than a minute. Those falls followed up a tight, 4-2 decision victory from Louden Spotts, and Gabriel Fisher rounded out the team’s wins on the night with a 17-5 major decision over Anthony Snook.

Jersey Shore (6-12) returns to action next Thursday, as it travels to face rival Central Mountain on the road. That match is set for 7 p.m.
