Shore boys tennis blanks Milton to move to 3-0
Jersey Shore blanked Milton on the road, 5-0, to improve to 3-0 early in the spring season on a chilly Monday afternoon.
Ryder Fink at No. 1 singles for Jersey Shore defeated Hagen Hanselman, 6-0, 6-0 and at No. 2 singles, Saul Hensler earned a 6-1, 6-1 win against Ricky Campos.
Jersey Shore’s Ezra Paulhamus defeated Adam Kerstetter at No. 3 singles, 6-0, 6-0.
In doubles competition, Jersey Shore’s No. 1 team of Abram Paulhamus and Luke Sarge beat Cole Blackman and Cahne O’Grady, 6-1, 6-0. At No. 2 doubles, Jersey Shore’s Dillon Harsanyi and Camden Stellfox beat Tavin Keitz and Tobin Strous in three sets.
Milton’s Keitz and Strous earned a 6-4 win in the second set to force a decisive third, which Haranyi and Stellfox won, 10-6.
