Clutch hitting leads Lock Haven softball to sweep over Slippery Rock

LOCK HAVEN - The Lock Haven softball team used a strong bullpen and timely hitting to edge Slippery Rock in a pair of one-run games, 5-4 (8 Innings) and 8-7, to earn a sweep in its final non-conference doubleheader of the year. The sweep moves Lock Haven to 28-20 on the season. The Haven’s 28 wins are the most for the program since winning 32 in 2019. Slippery Rock falls to 25-15 on the year. STATE COLLEGE — The Penn State Nittany Lion wrestling team, the Nittany Lion Wrestling Club and the Penn State Regional Training Center crowned three champions at the 2026 U.S. Open this weekend in Las Vegas. Thirteen Penn Staters competed in the senior freestyle tournament with a trip to Final X on the line. Three advanced to the finals and all three won gold as the Penn State RTC/NLWC went 3-0 in the finals on Saturday night.
