The Bald Eagles turned in a strong performance and earned more Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Championship qualifying marks. Nicole Carroll won the 1500-meter run by finishing in 4:47.07 and earned a PSAC qualifying time. On Saturday, the Bellefonte track and field teams hosted Selinsgrove, Brookville, East Juniata and St. Joseph's Catholic in a home meet at Rogers Stadium. Though cold weather was a factor, the Red Raiders still put together strong performances on both sides. On the girls side, Bellefonte defeated Brookville (94-51) and East Juniata (120-27) handedly, falling just short against Selinsgrove (82-68) in pursuit of a sweep. The Lock Haven softball team kicked off a stretch of three home games in as many days by hosting Shepherd in a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) East doubleheader at Lawrence Field on Sunday afternoon.
