LHU women’s wrestling caps regular season with sweep of York, No. 13 Eastern

The Lock Haven women’s wrestling team closed out the regular season with two dual victories over York (42-5) and No. 13 Eastern (25-24) at Thomas Fieldhouse on Sunday (Feb. 8). Lock Haven finished the season with a seven-dual winning streak and a 15-5 overall record. The Bald Eagles trailed No. 13 Eastern 24-10 with three bouts to go. LOCK HAVEN — Freshman Luke Kennevan drilled a 30-footer at the buzzer to send the game into second overtime and the Lock Haven men’s basketball team outscored visiting Kutztown 13-5 in double OT to secure a 91-83 victory at home on Saturday afternoon. LORETTO – Penn State men’s volleyball head coach Mark Pavlik notched the 700th win of his career Saturday as the 14th-ranked Nittany Lions swept Saint Francis 3-0 (25-19, 26-24, 25-11) in a non-conference match at DeGol Arena. They improved to 6-4 on the season, while the Red Flash dropped to 4-5. LOCK HAVEN — The Lock Haven women’s basketball team led from start to finish to secure its 11th straight victory, in a 65-54 Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) win over Kutztown at home on Saturday. Lock Haven continued its dominance in the PSAC Eastern Division and won its 11th straight game to improve to 11-0 in the East, while moving to 17-5 overall and 13-3 in the overall conference.
