It was a battle of 1-3 teams when Bucktail hosted St. John Neumann in baseball competition, but an impressive performance from Bucktail freshman Angelo Tarantella on the mound led to the home team improving to 2-3 by way of a 7-4 win. HOLLIDAYSBURG - Despite a strong, four-run surge in the game's final inning, the Bellefonte softball team wasn't able to carry that momentum into a win. Hollidaysburg responded with one run to break the tie, walking it off to defeat the Red Raiders in front of its home crowd, 8-7.
