Jersey Shore competed in a tri-meet against Shamokin and Mifflinburg on Thursday in swimming competition and the Bulldogs had swimmers see success in both girls and boys competition. Team scores were not available for the tri-meet. Jersey Shore's Addison Miller, a senior, won the 200 IM in 3:28.63 and Lila Nestlerode swam a time of 31.11 to win the 50 free for the Bulldogs. On Wednesday night, strong defense across the board, a fast second quarter and two double-figure outings propelled the Jersey Shore girls basketball team to a 44-29 win over Danville on the road. LOCK HAVEN — For the second week in a row, Jenadia Jordan of the Lock Haven women’s basketball team was named the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference East Athlete of the Week, the conference office announced. LOCK HAVEN — After his record-breaking weight throw on Saturday, Eric Zalar of the Lock Haven men’s track and field team was named the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Men’s Indoor Field Athlete of the Week, the conference office announced.
