Announcement has been made of the engagement of Julie Rae Barner, daughter of Dave Barner of Lamar and Michelle Merryman of Lock Haven to Colton David Morlock Sr., son of Michelle Macdowell of Jersey Shore.

Julie is a 2007 graduate of Bellefonte Area High School and a 2015 graduate of Pennsylvania College of Technology with a paralegal degree. She is employed at Pizza Hut in Mill Hall.

Colton is a 2005 graduate of Central Mountain High School and is employed at Seyler Enterprises in Jersey Shore.

The couple is planning an outdoor wedding on June 11, 2016.
