Howard Elementary wins tree decorating contest with ‘western theme’

Congratulations to Howard Elementary School for decorating a Christmas tree and winning an award in the “Best Done by Children” category. Each year Howard Elementary spends time creating ornaments and sponsoring a tree at CPI for the Festival of Trees held earlier this month. The Christmas tree was decorated using a Western theme. This year kindergarten students created the stars. First graders put together cacti. Second graders were in charge of painting bulbs with horses. Third graders created the lasso loops. The fourth graders added the cinnamon western ornaments and the fifth graders provided the garland and the red bulbs.
