I mean no disrespect to the Bucktail Detachment of the U.S. Marine Corp Reserves, which is a fine organization, but the ceremonies in Renovo on Sunday, May 28, were organized by the American Legion Post 442.
I am unclear why the Clinton County Veterans Affairs director called the Commander of the American Legion to get the ceremony details and yet gave credit to the Marines.
A lot of work goes into organizing the details, the volunteers who participate and the flowers for this event.
The correct people should be recognized.
