April programs at Ross Library announced

LOCK HAVEN — Award-winning author Heather Anderson will be coming to the Ross Library on April 2 at 6 p.m. Anderson will be signing and discussing her newest book,”Words From The Wild.” No registration is necessary.

Throughout April, in honor of Earth Day, free seed bomb kits will be given out at the library. These small kits contain everything needed to make a seed bomb, including instructions, and are great for spreading flowers throughout the yard. Kits will be given while supplies last.

On April 23 at 6 p.m., join author Donna Kshir and others at the Ross Library to discuss the book “Addison,” the celebration of a young woman with cancer. The event is held on Addison’s birthday, and the authors will discuss their book and remember this brave young woman.

Movies are shown at the Ross Library every month. On the third Thursday of each month at 6 p.m., the library shows a different movie. The movies will be shown on the third floor of the library, with popcorn available. On April 18, the movie will be “The Lost City,” and on May 16, it will be “Batman.”

On the second Tuesday of every month at 6 p.m., join the Ross Library for Adult Storytime. Each month, a volunteer will read a different short story to adults 18 years and up. Snacks will be provided. The next session will be on April 9.

“Saturday Crafternoons” is a crafting program ordinarily held on the last Saturday of each month. Each session begins at 12:30 p.m. with a simple craft. On April 27, it will be yarn bracelets, and on May 25, it will be record bookends.
