Piper Aviation Museum to get historical marker

On Tuesday, June 18, at 12 p.m., a historical marker will be dedicated at the Piper Aviation Museum. The marker will relate the history of Piper Aircraft Corporation that was headquartered at the William T. Piper Memorial Airport from 1937 to 1984. The public is invited to attend, and dignitaries from local government and the Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission will also be in attendance.

Puzzle Swap

A Happy Valley Puzzle Swap will take place Sunday, June 23, at 1 p.m. at Benner Pike Walmart in State College at the end of the parking lot. Swap your gently used puzzles 1 for 1, or use our free-for-all table! Please make sure you label missing pieces, ziplock your pieces in a box or tape box shut. Bring a table, wagon or pop your trunk. Please label your 1 for 1 puzzles with a post-it with your name on it.

JS Historical Meeting

The Jersey Shore Historical Society is holding their annual meeting on Saturday, June 29, at 10 a.m., at the Samuel Moss House and Museum, 200 S. Main St. Updates will be given on the roof repair timeline and future programs. All meetings are open to the public and members are encouraged to attend.
