The Ross Library is announcing the launch of two new clubs — the Lego Club and the STEM club.

STEM Club is designed for children aged 6 and up, while Lego Club is open to all ages.

Lego Club will meet at the Ross Library, 232 W. Main St., Lock Haven, in the Gould Room every Tuesday from 4-5 p.m.

Attendees at Lego Club can expect:

— Creative building challenges

— Collaborative projects

— Fun and educational activities

— A chance to meet new friends and fellow Lego enthusiasts

STEM Club will meet Thursdays in October, also in the Gould Room, from 3-4 p.m.

The STEM Club promises to be a fun and interactive way for young minds to explore the fascinating worlds of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics. Each meeting will begin with a captivating group experiment and observation. In the first experiment, the focus will be on physical and chemical changes, providing a hands-on learning experience that is both educational and exciting.

After the group experiment, club members will have the opportunity to explore various STEM Stations, each offering different activities and challenges designed to stimulate curiosity and foster a love for learning.

In addition to the weekly meetings, the STEM Club will host special-themed challenges. Mark your calendars for October 31st, when the club will feature Halloween-themed STEM challenges.

Parents and guardians are encouraged to bring their children to drop in during the scheduled time. This initiative is a fantastic way for kids to engage in creative problem-solving, teamwork and critical thinking, all while having a great time.

For more information about either club, please contact Holly Eisaman at ross9@rosslibrary.org

Starting at $3.69/week.
