A fresh wave of activity recently took over High Street as construction crews from Glenn O. Hawbaker Inc. Construction were hard at work installing a new sidewalk right in front of the recently opened Taco Bell in Flemington Borough. The project, initiated by PennDOT, added more pedestrian infrastructure to the busy area which houses multiple restaurants including Arby’s, Pizza Hut and Burger King along with other businesses. While Taco Bell welcomed its first customers in January 2025, the surrounding infrastructure upgrades are still rolling out as of now. Travelers and locals experienced traffic delays along High Street for the duration of the project.
