Free pizza for SNAP recipients

Until SNAP benefits are restored, Domino’s at 203 N. Jay St., Lock Haven, is offering a FREE large one-topping pizza for SNAP recipients.

“Enjoy a delicious meal on us during this difficult time,” Domino’s said.

To receive your free pizza, visit their location and show your EBT/SNAP card. No additional purchase is required.

“We are happy to support our local community until benefits are reinstated,” the business said.

Spaghetti

Dinner

A spaghetti dinner to benefit the Clinton County Special Olympics will be held on Saturday, Nov. 15, from 4-6 p.m., at the Sons of Italy. Tickets for the dinner are $10 per person. The dinner includes spaghetti and meatballs, bread and dessert. Pickup is by drive-thru, use the alley between the building and the railroad.

Benefit Bingo

The Sugar Valley Lions Club will host a Bingo Night on Nov. 14 at the Lions/Sportsman’s Club, 55 Sportsmans Road in Loganton, to support 14-month-old Luke’s fight against neuroblastoma. All proceeds will help cover his treatment at Geisinger Medical Center. Doors open at 6 p.m., and games begin at 7 p.m. Enjoy free food and two chances to win a turkey. Blood Drives

The American Red Cross urges people to donate blood now. All blood donors are needed, especially those with type O blood. Several blood drives will be happening during the next few weeks that donors can attend. Visit the Red Cross website or call 1-800-RED CROSS to arrange an appointment. Walk-ins are also welcomed!

Blood drives will be held on the following dates:

Nov. 18, from 12-5:30 p.m., at the American Philatelic Society in Bellefonte.

Dec. 2, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., at Avery Dennison in Mill Hall.
