TODAY

— Howard Area Lions Food Bank distribution, noon to 3 p.m., at the former Beech Creek Elementary. Bring a large, sturdy box(es) with you.

— Dunnstown Fire Company offers a Cash Bingo every Monday night at the fire station on 119 Woodward Ave., Lock Haven. Bingo starts at 6 p.m. and all proceeds help to support the fire company’s needs.

— Art Class, 4:30-6 p.m., at Friendship Community Library in Beech Creek. George Stefanski will be the class instructor. Class is free! Walk-ins are welcome! Class is designed for those age 12 and older. Come find your artistic talents through this class held every Monday night.

TOMORROW

— Milesburg Food Bank is open from 1-3 p.m. at Milesburg Presbyterian Church.

— Movie night at Friendship Community Library, Beech Creek. Movie starts at 4:30. Bring your own snacks and drinks (in spill proof containers). Bring a blanket to sit on the floor. Visit the FCL’s Facebook page or call 570-962-2048 for info. Friendship Community Library is open on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 3-7 p.m.

— Howard Area Lions dinner meeting, 6:30 p.m., at Howard United Methodist Church.

— KBR Bingo and More’s Tuesday night Bingo, 6:30 p.m. Doors open at 4:30 p.m. Come join the fun! KBR Bingo is located in the Piper Museum Building with elevator service to the 3rd floor Bingo hall. Call Deb at 570-660-2647 for info.

— Bellefonte Area School Board meeting, 7 p.m., at the Bellefonte Area Middle School cafeteria. The public is welcome to attend.

WEDNESDAY

— State Representative Paul Takac and staff will host free clinics to help folks apply for the Property Tax/Rent Rebate program and the Low Income Heating and Energy Assistance Program at Rep. Takac’s District Office, 216 E. Hamilton Ave., State College, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Staff will also be able to provide a host of other free services. For more info call Rep. — Prayer Shawl Ministry meeting, noon, at Bald Eagle United Presbyterian Church in Mill Hall. A free lunch is provided for those who attend. Come see the beautiful creations that the needleworkers have crocheted, knitted or sewn over the past month. Donations of yarn can be brought to the church as well.

— Blood Drive, 1-6 p.m., at the Dunnstown Fire Hall.

— Housing Summit, 5:30-7 p.m., at the Centre County Community Services Building, Bellefonte.

THURSDAY

— Senior Cheer Club meeting, noon, at the Friendship Community Center in Beech Creek. Bring a covered dish to share. Bring an unwrapped item for the Chinese auction game.

— Blood Drive, 12:30-6 p.m., at Centre Church in Pleasant Gap.

— Howard United Methodist Church free food distribution, 5 p.m. Lineup begins at 4 p.m. and please do not block driveways. Call Patti at 814-625-2182 for more info.
