In celebration of National Quilting Day, observed this year on March 21, the Clinton Piecemaker’s Quilt Guild donated a handcrafted baby quilt to the first newborn delivered on the holiday at UPMC Magee‒Womens Birthplace in Williamsport. The quilt, featuring an elephant motif, was created by guild member Cathy Shortledge. It was presented to Katelyn Fowler, unit director, and Amber McClain, senior clinician, of The Birthplace at UPMC Williamsport, by guild member and former Susquehanna Health nurse Kim Wykoff.
