LOCK HAVEN — Holy Spirit Parish, encompassing Immaculate Conception Church and St. Agnes Church in Lock Haven, and St. Joseph Church in Renovo have announced upcoming Holy Week services in preparation for Easter Sunday.

HOLY SPIRIT PARISH

— Holy Thursday, April 2, The Solemn Triduum of Easter begins with the Celebration of Mass of the Lord’s Supper at 7 p.m. at Immaculate Conception Church, 310 W. Water St., Lock Haven. Adoration will follow until 9 p.m.

— Good Friday, April 3, a service in remembrance of the Passion and the Death of our Lord will take place at 3 p.m. at St. Agnes Church, 3 E. Walnut St., Lock Haven.

— Holy Saturday, April 4, the Celebration of the Paschal Mystery of Christ and Easter Vigil Mass, with lighting of the Easter fire, will take place at 8 p.m. at St. Agnes Church, 3 E. Walnut St. Special music will play a half an hour before the service with the choir.

— Easter Sunday, April 5, Easter Masses celebrating the Resurrection of Christ will take place at both churches. Mass will be held at 8 a.m. at Immaculate Conception, with special music with the choir a half an hour before. St. Agnes Church’s service will be held at 9:30 a.m.

ST. JOSEPH CHURCH

— Good Friday, April 3, a Tenebrae Service will be held at St. Joseph Church, 925 Huron Ave., Renovo, at 8 p.m. to begin celebrating the last three days of Holy Week.

— Easter Sunday, April 5, the Resurrection of Christ Celebrating Easter Mass will be held at St. Joseph Church at 12 p.m.
