DANVILLE — The Geisinger Health Foundation has received a transformative charitable commitment of $1.25 million, payable over five years, to support healthcare initiatives at Geisinger Lewistown Hospital (GLH) and Geisinger Jersey Shore Hospital (GJSH) from the Better Together Fund established by First Quality Enterprises, LLC.

These initiatives will benefit patients and families in Mifflin and Clinton counties. The funding will be used to strengthen care delivery and expand access to high-quality, patient-centered services at both hospitals, helping to make sure residents in these rural communities can receive the care they need, close to home.

“This generous gift will have a meaningful and lasting impact on the communities we serve,” said Tammy Anderer, chief administrative officer at Geisinger Jersey Shore Hospital and Geisinger Lewistown Hospital. “By supporting Geisinger, the Better Together Fund established by First Quality is helping us advance critical priorities at both hospitals, improving access to care and continuing to meet the evolving healthcare needs of patients throughout Clinton and Mifflin counties.
