LOCK HAVEN — The Covenant Cafe, an activity group for those in the early stages of Alzheimer’s disease or other dementias, will be meeting on Tuesday, July 7, from 1 to 3 p.m., at Covenant United Methodist Church, 44 W. Main St., Lock Haven. It will be Penn State Ice Cream Day at Covenant Cafe with Dolly Madison, a.k.a Pam Blesh, dishing out the ice cream. Main St., will permanently close its doors on Aug. 8, 2026, owner Abigail announced this week, citing ongoing financial challenges despite significant efforts to revitalize the downtown retail business.
