Covenant Cafe to hold Penn State Ice Cream Day on July 7

LOCK HAVEN — The Covenant Cafe, an activity group for those in the early stages of Alzheimer’s disease or other dementias, will be meeting on Tuesday, July 7, from 1 to 3 p.m., at Covenant United Methodist Church, 44 W. Main St., Lock Haven. It will be Penn State Ice Cream Day at Covenant Cafe with Dolly Madison, a.k.a Pam Blesh, dishing out the ice cream. Dolly is credited with introducing ice cream to the White House. Skeleton Key Boutique announces closure

LOCK HAVEN — Skeleton Key Boutique, 19 E. Main St., will permanently close its doors on Aug. 8, 2026, owner Abigail announced this week, citing ongoing financial challenges despite significant efforts to revitalize the downtown retail business. Abigail purchased the boutique in December 2024 with the goal of rebuilding the business and continuing to provide Lock Haven shoppers with a unique retail experience.
