Takac announces program clinics for constituents

State Representative Paul Takac has recently announced that both the Property Tax/Rent Rebate Program (PTRR) and the Low-Income Heating & Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) are now open and accepting applications. Takac’s office will be hosting a series of joint PTRR/LIHEAP clinics across the 82nd Legislative District to help constituents navigate the applications. Benner Elementary students paint windows to brighten school

FIREWORKS MEAL It’s time once again for the Chicken and Waffles Dinner that is held to raise funds to buy the fireworks for the Orviston Festival. The meal will be held on Saturday, Feb. 21, from 3:30-6 p.m., at the Beech Creek Fire Company social hall. The cost will be $12 for anyone nine years of age and older, and those eight years and younger can eat for a donation of your choice. STATE COLLEGE — Nittany Valley Sports Centre announced today the upcoming opening of The Clubhouse Family Fun Centre, a new entertainment space designed to give families, teams, companies and groups a place to play, gather, and build memories together.
