Wayne Twp. Rec Committee looks back on holiday activities; shares upcoming events

McELHATTAN — The Wayne Township recreation committee in conjunction with the Wayne Township supervisors held numerous events over the holiday season. ELF CONTEST WINNERS The recreation committee along with Truck Lite community service committee hid elves throughout the nature park and asked youth to walk the park and see how many they could find. The winners of the elf contest were Raelynn Ripka, who came closest to the amount, and Raelynn Klinefelter who came in second. Congratulations to all who participated. HELP for Pets annual meeting is Feb. 5

LOCK HAVEN — HELP (Hardship Emergency Loan Program) for Pets will hold their Annual Sponsor/Board Meeting on Feb. 5, at 7 p.m. The meeting will be held upstairs in the Annie Halenbake Ross Library in Lock Haven. Anyone with an interest in joining or learning how they can help the group is welcome to attend. HELP for Pets is a non-profit organization that provides interest-free loans to Clinton County pet owners who have exhausted all other financial means to allow for urgent treatment of their pets, thus alleviating unnecessary euthanasia.
