$150 stolen
NORTH BEND — Two Lock Haven residents were arrested for theft by deception following an incident in Chapman Township between July 9 and 13, Renovo Borough Police said.
Paige McCabe, 33, and Jason Winkelman, 42, were cited for theft after they allegedly sold a refrigerator to a resident of the township and never delivered the item, police said.
Winkelman and McCabe were given multiple opportunities to deliver the refrigerator or refund the money to the victim, neither of which occurred, police said.
Charges of theft by deception were filed through the office of District Judge Frank Mills.
Yard work leads to
neighbor dispute
LOCKPORT — Woodward Township Police were called to a dispute between neighbors along Cardinal Drive on Aug. 11.
According to police, officers were called to the area where a dispute began regarding grass and weed clippings being blown into a property without being cleaned up.
Police contacted the neighbor who said they would correct the problem with their mowing service.
Lost wallet
LOCKPORT — Woodward Township Police are looking for help in finding a lost wallet along Woodward Avenue.
According to police, a woman’s wallet with Pokemon characters on it was lost along the roadway on Aug. 11.

Teen charged in Walker
Township crash
MINGOVILLE — A 17-year-old boy from Howard was charged with following too closely after rear-ending a vehicle turning from Nittany Valley Drive onto Dunkle Road in Walker Township on Aug. 8, according to state police at Rockview.
The front end of the teenager’s 2008 Chevrolet Equinox sustained disabling damage, while the struck vehicle, a 2024 Jeep Wagoneer, sustained minor rear-end damage, police said.
Neighbor dispute
MINGOVILLE — Dennis Leber, 38, of Mingoville, was issued a nontraffic citation for disorderly conduct on Aug. 10 at 5:47 p.m., after an altercation with a 35-year-old Mingoville man in which he spit on the man’s truck, according to state police at Rockview.
Trespassing
AARONSBURG — On Aug. 9 at 2:24 p.m., a nontraffic citation was filed against a 54-year-old Spring Mills man for trespassing on a 70-year-old Aaronsburg man’s property at the intersection of W. North Street and Pine Street in Haines Township, according to state police at Rockview.
Lug nuts stolen from vehicle
SNOW SHOE — A 23-year-old Bellefonte man reported that lug nuts, valued at $100, were removed from a tire on his 2016 silver Volkswagen on Aug. 2 on East Park Avenue in Snow Shoe Borough, according to state police at Rockview.
Latrobe man charged with
harassment at The Meadows
CENTRE HALL — A 33-year-old man from Latrobe was charged with harassment of a 28-year-old man from Mount Pleasant Mills on Aug. 13 at The Meadows, according to state police at Rockview.
Bintelli stolen
MILESBURG — State police at Rockview are investigating the theft of a Bintelli (electric vehicle) valued at $1,300, that was reported stolen by Dustin Thompson, 30, of Bellefonte. Police said the theft occurred at 773 S. Eagle Valley Road in Boggs Township, near Milesburg, and was reported on July 11.

Underage alcohol consumption
SPRING MILLS — Between June 15-June 18, state police at Rockview responded to the Seven Mountains Campground in Spring Mills, for the report of multiple underage teens consuming alcohol at a 4-H club campout.
Police arrested a 26-year-old male from Newport, Pa., with the alcohol purchase and furnishing to nine teens, ranging in age from 15-19 years, each of which were also arrested during the incident, police said.
Drug possession
WEST DECATUR — On June 13, state police at Rockview conducted a traffic stop on Poor Farm Lane in Boggs Township, Clearfield County, for title 75 violations.
Police said the stop on a 2023 black Jeep Grand Cherokee was made and during the stop it was determined that the back seat passenger was in possession of marijuana and related paraphernalia.
Police said Samir Kohistani, 26, of Manassas, Va., was arrested for drug possession in the incident.
