Milesburg motorcycle accident claims Snow Shoe man’s life
MILESBURG — Aiden Lee ChunJian Andrews, 21, of Snow Shoe, died Friday, Oct. 3, from injuries sustained in a motorcycle crash during the morning rush hour in Milesburg.
According to state police at Rockview, the crash occurred at 7:15 a.m. on the 300 block of Turnpike Street when Andrews’ 2025 Suzuki GSXR struck the rear of a 2021 Ford Ecosport driven by a 51-year-old Bellefonte man.
Police said Andrews had been traveling at a high rate of speed.
According to the crash report, he was wearing a helmet but suffered suspected serious injuries to his torso. Bellefonte EMS transported him from the scene, and he was later flown by Life Flight helicopter to UPMC Williamsport, where he was pronounced dead.
The other driver was not injured, but both vehicles were disabled and had to be towed from the scene, police said.
Born in Hefei, China, Andrews was a 2022 graduate of Bald Eagle Area High School and served as assistant manager at the Dunkin’ Donuts on the Benner Pike.
According to his obituary that appears on the Daughenbaugh Funeral Home’s website, Andrews was known for his generosity and willingness to help wherever he was needed, often stepping in to support other Dunkin’ locations.
“He was a kind-hearted, confident and outgoing young man whose presence left a lasting impact on everyone fortunate enough to know him. Though his time with us was far too short, Aiden’s life was rich with love, laughter and compassion,” loved ones wrote in his obituary.
