Hit and run
MILESBURG — State police responded to a crash that occurred on Oct. 6, at approximately 1:10 p.m., on I-80 westbound near mile marker 154 in Boggs Township, according to state police at Rockview.
At the time of the accident, an unnamed driver was attempting to pass a 1998 International Harvester, driven by Danny I. Muthler, 64, of Mill Hall, in the left lane when they failed to complete the pass and collided with Muthler, police said.
Muthler’s vehicle was able to move off the roadway while the other car continued traveling west on I-80, police said.
Pedestrian hit
BELLEFONTE — According to state police at Rockview, a crash was reported after a pedestrian was struck by a 2018 Ford driven by Jody M. Sharer, 59, of Bellefonte, while attempting to cross the roadway near Benner Pike and Amberleigh Lane, Benner Township, on Sept. 28.
Minor injuries were reported by the pedestrian after the accident but they were not transported for medical treatment, police said.
Two-vehicle crash
MILESBURG — No injuries were reported following a crash on Oct. 3, at the intersection of Mill St. and Water St., according to state police at Rockview.
At approximately 4:50 p.m., a 2005 Chevrolet driven by Harold D. Parkes, 76, of Milesburg, failed to stop and clear the intersection, pulling onto SR 144, police said.
After failing to stop, Parkes proceeded through the intersection and was struck by a 2021 Jeep driven by Kenneth W. Howell, 58, of Bellefonte, police said.
Parkes’ car was towed from the scene by Rich’s Amoco, police said.
Juvenile assault
RENOVO — A 12-year-old male was charged with simple assault and harassment on Sept. 29, according to the Renovo Police Department.
The citation came following an incident that occurred at a Renovo residence around 5:40 p.m., police said.
The juvenile is alleged to have assaulted another person, resulting in injury, police said.
Police said the juvenile was charged through Clinton County Juvenile Court.
Court summons
RENOVO — Denise Taylor, 40, of Renovo, has been charged with dog law violations, including failing to have her dog licensed and failing to have the required rabies vaccination, according to the Renovo Police Department.
This charge stems from an alleged incident that occurred during the afternoon of Sept. 27 along Huron Ave., police said.
Police were called after Taylor’s dog bit a juvenile, resulting in an investigation that revealed the above PA dog law violations, police said.
Taylor has been charged by summons through District Court 25-3-03, police said.
Active warrant, identity theft
RENOVO — Mandy Anderson, 44, of Renovo, has been charged with multiple crimes from incidents that occurred between May 29 and Sept. 4, according to the Renovo Police Department.
Anderson is alleged to have burglarized an apartment at 300 Huron Ave., stealing a credit card, police said.
Anderson then made 18 unauthorized transactions across various parts of Clinton County, resulting in over $3,400 in cash and other fees, police said.
An arrest warrant was issued on Oct. 6, charging Anderson with 71 charges, including 1 count of burglary, 18 counts of theft by unlawful taking, 18 counts of receiving stolen property, 18 counts of access device fraud and 16 counts of identity theft, police said.
As of Oct. 10, Anderson has an active warrant for her arrest, police said.

ATV accident
LOCK HAVEN — Police responded to an ATV accident Oct. 9 in the area of 132 Cardinal Dr., Woodward Township, according to Woodward Police.
At approximately 2:58 p.m., Michael J. Friel, 66, was driving an ATV on the roadway when a malfunction occurred, causing him to crash the vehicle into a parked truck, police said.
Friel was injured as a result of the accident and was transported to Jersey Shore hospital, police said.
Traffic citations have been issued to Friel, including illegally operating an ATV on the road and not wearing a helmet while operating the vehicle, police said.
