Accidental shooting

LAMAR — An accidental shooting resulted in non-life threatening injuries along Washington Avenue in Porter Township on Sept. 11, state police at Lamar said.

According to police, troopers were called to the area at 3:49 a.m. for an accidental shooting.

The subject, whose information was not listed, was transported by EMS to UPMC Williamsport in stable condition for injuries to both of her legs, police said.

Harassment

RENOVO — Two Renovo residents were cited for harassment following an incident in the 200 block of Fourth Street, Renovo Borough, on Sept. 12, state police at Lamar said.

At 8:17 a.m., troopers were called to the area for an inactive investigation involving a 26-year-old woman and a 28-year-old man, police said.

Trespassing

RENOVO — Michael Coleman, 58, of Renovo, was arrested on a warrant for felony criminal trespass, according to the Renovo Police Department.

On June 27, 2025, Coleman was allegedly caught on video entering an attached garage of an occupied structure on Ontario Avenue in Renovo Borough, police said.

Coleman was taken to the Clinton County Correctional Facility, arraigned by Magisterial District Judge Keith Kibler and released on $15,000 unsecured bail, police said.

Found property

FLEMINGTON — On Sept. 7 at 9:15 a.m., state police at Lamar responded to St. Luke’s United Church, 1175 W. Fourth St., Flemington Borough, for a report of found property.

The items, found on the entrance sign to the church parking lot, were described as a black-and-gray patterned Robert Stock long-sleeved flannel shirt and a burnt orange lunch bag with a multicolored design, police said.

Harassment, entering

banned business

RENOVO –Rebecca Spahr, 31, was charged with summary counts of harassment and defiant criminal trespass stemming from an incident the evening of Sept. 5 at the Keystone Hotel, 400 Erie Ave., Renovo, according to the Renovo Borough Police Department.

Police said Spahr allegedly threatened another after attempting to enter the hotel, from which she is banned.

Drug possession at

high school

MILL HALL — State police at Lamar charged a 15-year-old girl with drug possession and possession of drug paraphernalia after being dispatched to Central Mountain High School at 11 a.m. on Sept. 4, police said.

Teacher Assaulted

MILL HALL — A juvenile male was arrested for allegedly assaulting a female teacher at Central Mountain High School at 2:20 p.m. on Aug. 26, causing minor injuries to the instructor, according to state police at Rockview.

Police said Clinton County Juvenile Probation was contacted to assist, and charges of aggravated assault on a school staff member have been filed.

Vehicle rear-ended

LAMAR — No injuries were reported in a two vehicle crash along Interstate 80 West near mile marker 172, Porter Township, on Sept. 15, state police at Lamar said.

At 9:18 p.m., a 2012 Honda CRV, driven by Samuel J. Lauricia, Jr., 79, of Washington, Pa., was traveling behind a 2010 Ford F150 XLT, driven by Girogi Kapanadze, 35, of Brooklyn, N.Y., when, for an unknown reason, he did not maintain proper following distance and rear ended the other vehicle, police said.

The accident caused disabling damage to both vehicles, with towing provided by Tressler’s Towing and Eagle Towing, police said.

Lauricia was cited for following too closely as a result of the crash, police said.

Physical altercation in

school van

LAMAR — State police at Lamar investigated a physical altercation between two students in a school van that allegedly occurred near the intersection of Nittany Valley Drive and Heltman Road in Porter Township, according to state police at Lamar.

The investigation is pending review of on-board camera footage from the van, police said.

One of the victims was an 11-year-old boy from Lock Haven, according to police.

Keyed car

FLEMINGTON — A 2007 blue Subaru Legacy Outback was keyed sometime between Aug. 15 and 22 on High Street, Flemington Borough, according to state police at Lamar.

Police said the damage to the car, owned by a 31-year-old Lock Haven woman, is estimated at less than $1,000 and the investigation is ongoing.

Harassment, defiant trespass

LAMAR — A 32-year-old man from Yuba City, Calif., was arrested at 4:15 p.m. Sept. 3 after state police at Lamar responded to the TA Travel Center in Mill Hall for a report of a man allegedly harassing customers outside and acting erratically, according to police.

Police said the manager told the man to leave, but he allegedly refused and went inside, tearing down picture frames from the wall.

He was arrested and charged with defiant criminal trespass and disorderly conduct.

Corruption of minors

AVIS — State police at Lamar are investigating inappropriate messages allegedly sent by an adult to two teenagers in the Jersey Shore and Avis areas.

Police said the messages were sent between June 1 and Aug. 10.

Dog law violation

WOOLRICH — State police at Lamar responded to Park Avenue in Pine Creek Township on Aug. 30 around 7 p.m. regarding a dog law violation. Police said the incident is under investigation.

Domestic dispute

LAMAR — State police at Lamar said they were dispatched at 12:19 p.m. on Aug. 19 to Locust Street in Porter Township over a domestic dispute.

Police said a woman allegedly struck a 42-year-old man from Lamar and damaged his 2016 red Nissan Altima.

Charges for the woman are pending, police said.

Drug paraphernalia

LAMAR — During a traffic stop on Locust Street, Porter Township, at 1:47 a.m. Aug. 19, a 44-year-old woman from Westport, Pa., was allegedly found in possession of used drug paraphernalia after being stopped for a minor traffic infraction, according to state police at Lamar.

Charges are pending a complete investigation.
