LOCK HAVEN — The Clinton County motorist accused of killing a father and his unborn child in a wrong-way driving accident wants all evidence, including blood alcohol test results obtained through a search warrant, quashed. Dwight L. Meyer, 29, of Lock Haven, in a motion filed Monday in Clinton County court, contends he was under the influence of strong painkillers in UPMC Williamsport when a state trooper elicited from him information used to obtain the warrant to conduct a blood test. Max Donald Fox, 38, of 332 Washington Ave., Jersey Shore, has been arrested on charges of unlawful dissemination of an intimate image and harassment after posting on social media last month a photo of a former partner “engaged in sexual conduct,” Lycoming Regional police alleged in a court document. Overheated motor sends smoke into Jersey Shore High School cafeteria

JERSEY SHORE — Students and staff were forced to evacuate the Jersey Shore High School on Cemetery Street about noon Thursday when smoke began filling the cafeteria and kitchen, according to borough fire officials. The problem was a heating motor on the school’s roof that malfunctioned, Citizens Hose Fire Chief Ethan Goodbrod said. While there was no actual fire in the building, the malfunction caused smoke to enter the school’s ductwork and through vents in the cafeteria, Goodbrod said.
