JS area man faces charges following gun-pointing incident

WILLIAMSPORT — While in the 100 block of Maynard Street on the night of July 6, Thomas Baldwin Gibson, 23, of Gibrock Lane, Jersey Shore, blocked another man’s vehicle with his own, jumped on the hood of the man’s car and pointed a handgun at him before getting down and fleeing in his Subaru Forester, Williamsport City Police alleged in an affidavit. LOGAN MILLS — Just before 1 p.m. on Friday afternoon, the Sugar Valley Fire Company, the Goodwill Hose Company and the Pennsylvania State Police responded to the scene of an accident involving a vehicle and an Amish buggy in the area of West Valley Road and Mountainside Acres, near Logan Mills. Source of Rockey Road fire undetermined LOGANTON — A state police fire marshall was unable to determine the source of a fire that destroyed a garage and part of a residence along Rockey Road in Greene Township on Dec. 21, 2024, state police at Lamar said. The fire occurred at about 2:30 p.m. at 306 Rockey Road, igniting in the attached garage and extending into the attic of the home, police said.
