Chiz Rider in concert
LOCK HAVEN — The First Church of Christ, 330 N. Vesper St., Lock Haven, invites everyone to come March 6 at 6 p.m. for Chiz Rider in concert. He will also perform during the 9 a.m. worship.
The concert is free and there is plenty of parking. Bring your friends and family.
Prayer Shawl Ministry
MILL HALL — The Prayer Shawl Ministry will meet on Wednesday, March 2 at noon at Bald Eagle United Presbyterian Church, 111 Main St., Mill Hall with a complimentary lunch. In addition to the regular meeting, the ministry will welcome a representative from Infant Development to receive the blankets made by the needleworkers. The church is handicap accessible and the ministry provides all the yarn needed to make the prayer shawls, afghans, hats, scarves, comfort dolls, fidget sleeves and mats in addition to other items. Yarn is being funded by the Clinton County Community Foundation.

Bellefonte fish fry
BELLEFONTE — Bellefonte Friday Night Fish Fry at St. John’s Catholic School, 116 E. Bishop St., will be on the following Friday’s of Lent: March 4, March 11, March 18, March 25, April 1 and April 8. They will be open to the public from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
The menu will consist of baked lemon pepper Cod (GF) or Yuengling Beer Battered Haddock or Panko Crusted Fried Shrimp, choice of three sides: French fries, macaroni and cheese, stewed tomatoes, cole slaw, apple sauce and a homemade dessert.
They are also offering pierogies with butter and onions. Eat in or take out. The cost is only $12 for adults and $6 for children under 12, under 6 eat for free. Ala Carte will also be available. Come experience Centre County’s number one rated fish fry prepared and served by the Bellefonte Knights of Columbus and Catholic Daughters of the Americas.
Turkey supper
LOGANTON — Sugar Valley Church of the Brethren is having their annual Turkey Supper on Saturday, March 5 from 4-7 p.m. at 2305 E. Winter Road, Loganton. This is offered as a take out dinner only.
All meals will include roast turkey, filling, mashed potatoes, gravy, green beans, corn, cranberry sauce, roll and dessert. Cost for the meal is by donation only.

Soup sale
FLEMINGTON — St. Luke’s United Church of Christ in Flemington will be holding a Soup Sale, Saturday, March 12. Pickup will be from 9 a.m.-Noon at the church. Soups may be ordered by calling the church office at 570-748-5741 through March 7. Please leave your order on the message machine.
Soups offered will be $6 a quart and include chicken corn soup, vegetable beef, and ham and bean.
Lenten fish fries
LOCK HAVEN — Holy Spirit Parish will hold their Lenten fish fried beginning Friday, March 4 at the parish center, 3 E. Walnut St., Lock Haven. The fish fries will be drive-thru only from 4 to 6 p.m.
The meal will consist of baked or fried Haddock, macaroni and cheese, stewed tomatoes, coleslaw, bread and dessert for $12. No petite meals will be offered.
The fish fries will take place every Friday during Lent, except for Good Friday.
Spaghetti dinner
JERSEY SHORE — A spaghetti dinner will be held on Saturday, March 5 from 4:30-6:30 p.m. at Oriole United Methodist Church, 39 Main Road, Jersey Shore. The meal will be dine-in or take out.
Ticket donations will cost $6.50 for adults; $4 for children ages 3 to 12; and children under three eat free. Tickets may be purchased at the door.
Virtual Services
FLEMINGTON — St. Luke’s United Church of Christ, 1175 W. Fourth St., Flemington, will not be holding in-church services for the remainder of February.
Virtual services will be conducted Feb. 27 beginning at 10:45 a.m.
Indoor yard sale
SALLADASBURG — Salladasburg United Methodist Church will be holding an indoor yard sale on Saturday, Feb. 26 from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.
All items for sale will be offered for donation only. All donations will help offset medical cost for Jut Haag’s lung transplant. In addition to yard sale items there will be baked goods, and lunch items available.
A snow date is scheduled for April 9.
Youth Group
Youth Group will meet weekly on Thursdays from 6 to 8 p.m. The group is open to kids of all ages with an 11-week Revelation Bible Study beginning on Sunday, Feb. 27 from 6:30 to 8 p.m.
Sportsmen’s Banquet
A Sportsmen’s Banquet will be held on March 4 beginning at 5:45 p.m.
A meal will be served from 6 to 7 p.m. with Mark Traister, President of Local Chapter WTF (Susquehanna Longbeards) expected to speak at 7:45 p.m.
The event will feature basket raffles and other chance items.
Tickets cost $15 and may be purchased by calling the church office at 570-726-8009.
Cornhole Tournament
The Hands and Feet hold a cornhole tournament on March 19. Registration is at 9 a.m. and the tournament will start at 10 a.m.

The tournament will also feature a basket raffle, 50/50 and concession stand.
